Let's start backwards!
Here are my final renderings of my 3D model project the Blacksmith Shop. There are lots of things happening here, so let's just give a brief explanation of it all!
Most of the objects have a mix of UV mapped textures & patterns, AI Standard surface presets, and the regular Maya preset Blinn & Lambert materials. The items are made from basic polygons, extrusions, or Sweep meshes! Most of these ideas came from a compilation of photo references which are right below here.
these are the two main references I used throughout this project!
This was the gray box of my project!
In this stage, we just put the main forms and the layout we wanted, as seen with my final many things changed from this point, but the main forms of the oven, book shelf, and room layout stayed the same.
Since we are going backward, here is the more advanced geometry of this project in its middle stages. Not yet at their best, but better than their original squares!
Here are some of the wireframe images I took more towards the end of the project. Yes, I know, they are in wire frame. i don't know why I took photos this way, I was a different me at the time.
Here are some of the props with textures!
Here are some OBJECTS WITH diffuse maps AND NORMAL MAPS!
THESE WERE DONE ON SUBSTANCE PAINTER, but with the bare minimum of knowledge, not sure if i completely did it right at the time.
